ABOUT US
We are the Catino family and we live in the
beautiful foothills of the Oregon coastal range. Our farm sits on 20 acres of land that varies from forest to pasture. Scott
moved here in 1988 from Southern California. At the time, it was just a small house in the middle of the woods. There was
an old trailer parked at the edge of the forest where our current barn is located, and our current pastureland was the deep
woods. Since then, many changes have been made to make our home a happy place for animals to live.

Quail Run Hollow
Our
farm is Quail Run Hollow. Under this name we have raised a variety of animals including cattle, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens,
ducks and even quail. Now Quail Run Hollow is comprised to two different entities: Caprinos LLC and Quail Run Creamery LLC.
Caprinos LLC
In recent years we have focused our efforts on Nigerian
Dwarf Dairy Goats. Caprinos is a
combination of the words "caprine" and "Catino." For those of you non-goat people, caprine is the scientific
category for goats. When we started working with these little creatures, we found them to be extremely sweet and personable.
They quickly became part of our family. Ultimately, we decided that our herdname should reflect how embedded they have become
in our lives, thus the name "Caprinos."

Quail Run Creamery LLC
Our
second business is Quail Run Creamery LLC. We are currently in the process of becoming a Grade A Cheese Dairy.
We make a variety of raw, cave-aged, hard cheeses. These are delicious cheeses with rich, distinctive flavors.
You'll have to take our word for it, since we cannot sell our cheese until we become a licensed dairy. However,
we've had a variety of people sample our cheese and so far it's received rave reviews.
